Dr Thiago Rossi da Silva BDS 

Thiago has a broad interest in all aspects of general practice and always aims to provide his patients with the highest level of care. Trained in the UK but born in Brazil, Thiago is a great communicator and can speak a number of languages.

Qualifications  -

Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science, King’s College London, UK (2012)

Bachelor of Dental Surgery, University of Plymouth, UK (2016)

Passions -

I am passionate about prevention and minimally invasive dentistry, believing that education is the cornerstone of excellent oral health. My goal is to provide the highest standard of dental care, adhering to best practice guidelines.

Background Experience  -

I have been working as a general dental practitioner since 2016. My professional career began in the UK, where I served as an associate dentist in both Bristol and London. During this time, I gained valuable experience treating patients in both public and private sectors. In 2019, I relocated to Australia, where I have been practicing with GMHBA.

Dr Vianna Neal

Dr. Vianna Neal enjoys providing all aspects of general dentistry. Vianna has a strong focus on prevention and strives to provide the highest level of care. Vianna prioritises patient care and aims to ensure that every individual feels comfortable and well-informed about their dental health. Vianna is attentive and provides comprehensive dental treatment with a gentle and caring touch.

Outside of dentistry, she delights in spending time with her family, immersing herself in music, and exploring new destinations.

Krystal Haggerty Oral Health Therapist (OHT) GMHBA Hub, Belmont

Krystal has joined our Dental team at GMHBA with a commitment and dedication to achieve optimal dental health with our patients and community. As an OHT Krystal has a special focus on dental disease prevention through preventative care and education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Biomedical Science - RMIT university 2015

• Bachelor of Oral Health Therapy (Dental Hygiene and Therapy) - Charles Sturt University 2018

• Expanded scope of practice 2019 gaining adult scope

Background experience

• Collaborated with multidisciplinary teams across Australia to provide comprehensive patient care.
• 6 years of experience of an OHT providing comprehensive oral health care to diverse patient’s populations.
• Skilled in clinical dentistry, oral health education, preventative dentistry, dental hygiene and patient communication and care.
• Developed and implemented effective treatment plans for patients with complex oral health needs.

Dr Adrian Carr BDSc

Dr Adrian Carr has worked at 120 Ryrie St. Geelong since 2005 and enjoys providing all aspects of general dental care for his patients. He is married with 3 school-aged children. Away from work Adrian enjoys playing tennis, keeping fit and involving himself in all of his children’s sporting and school activities.

Dr Anna Stokes BDS 

Dr Anna Stokes has worked in general dentistry since qualifying in June 1995 at Bristol University. She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry from check-ups to implants and particularly enjoys managing the long term care of patients that working in general practice can bring.

When not at work she enjoys travelling & spending time with her young family.

Dr John Sear BDS

Dr John Sear graduated from the University of Sydney in 1987. After serving as a Captain in the Royal Australian Army Dental Corps, he has worked in nearly every type of dentistry. Dr John has held four Senior Governance roles, spent several years working as a surgical assistant to four specialist oral surgeons, had two years as a Lecturer at Griffith University teaching clinical dentistry, done dozens of locums, and served on the ACT Dental Board. Now, over thirty years since qualifying, Dr John has decided to settle down close to kith and kin in Geelong – home of his beloved Catters!

Dr Shilpa Dhawan

We are pleased to welcome Dr Shilpa Dhawan to our team. Dr Shilpa started her career in Tasmania before working in Melbourne and has experience managing general dentistry procedures, diagnosing dental problems, and determining comprehensive treatment plans. She is a compassionate dentist focused on prevention and enjoys practicing stress free dentistry. She is prided on her patient communication and passionate about helping patients with their concerns and improve their oral health in the most adequate manner.

Dr Yoonjae Choi 

Dr. Yoonjae Choi completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery at James Cook University in Cairns. Yoonjae enjoys practicing all aspects of dentistry. His gentle and easy-going nature allows him to make dentally anxious patients feel at ease and more comfortable. Yoonjae has a strong focus on preventive dentistry and aims to help patients keep their natural teeth as long as possible.

Outside dentistry, he enjoys running, playing tennis, and playing instruments such as guitar and piano. He is fluent in Korean as he was born in South Korea.

Dr Sook Loi Ng (BDS)

Dr Sook Loi Ng, graduated from the University of Sydney in 1994. She has worked in the Public Community Dental Services as well as private clinics in NSW, Victoria and Malaysia since then. She and her family have now settled in the beautiful southwest coast.

She is committed to providing comprehensive general dental care to all her patients. She is passionate about oral health promotion and preventive dental care.

Dr Sook Loi Ng also has a special interest in Dental Sleep Medicine. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, bike riding, walking and cooking.

Dr Terry Chao (BDS)

Terry graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Science from the University of Western Australia and has since practiced in both non-profit and private clinics in regional areas. His time working there has provided him with experience in treating patients with a wide range of medical and dental issues, whom he strives to provide quality dental care with understanding and kindness. 

While Terry practices all aspects of general dentistry, he is particularly passionate in emergency care and preventative care. Outside of work, Terry enjoys exploring new places and trying the occasional craft beer at local breweries.

Narelle Hartwich

Narelle has worked as Dental Hygienist for 30 years. She has worked in a variety of places. Before working with GMHBA was a Clinical Educator with Latrobe University Bendigo. She likes to see the improvement to patients gum health. Married to a farmer. When not at work she enjoys gardening, jigsaws and reading.
