Dr Adrian Carr BDSc (Adelaide)

Dr Adrian Carr has worked at 120 Ryrie St. Geelong since 2005 and enjoys providing all aspects of general dental care for his patients. He is married with 3 school-aged children. Away from work Adrian enjoys playing tennis, keeping fit and involving himself in all of his children’s sporting and school activities.

Dr Anna Stokes BDS (Bristol)

Dr Anna Stokes has worked in general dentistry since qualifying in June 1995 at Bristol University. She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry from check-ups to implants and particularly enjoys managing the long term care of patients that working in general practice can bring.

When not at work she enjoys travelling & spending time with her young family.

Dr Thiago Rossi Da Silva BDS (Peninsula College) UK

Dr Thiago Rossie Da Silva has a broad interest in all aspects of general practice and always aims to provide his patients with the highest level of care. Trained in the UK but born in Brazil, Thiago is a great communicator and can speak a number of languages.

Dr John Sear BDS

Dr John Sear graduated from the University of Sydney in 1987. After serving as a Captain in the Royal Australian Army Dental Corps, he has worked in nearly every type of dentistry. Dr John has held four Senior Governance roles, spent several years working as a surgical assistant to four specialist oral surgeons, had two years as a Lecturer at Griffith University teaching clinical dentistry, done dozens of locums, and served on the ACT Dental Board. Now, over thirty years since qualifying, Dr John has decided to settle down close to kith and kin in Geelong – home of his beloved Catters!

Dr Navdeep Kaur BDS

Dr Navdeep Kaur graduated in 2014 and worked overseas for 3 years before permanently moving to Australia in 2017. After passing her Australian Dental council examinations in 2017, Navdeep has since worked in private practices across Western Australia and Victoria.

Navdeep enjoys providing all aspects of general dentistry. Navdeep's philosophy is to work with her patients to achieve a more holistic approach to oral health. Her priority is to empower the patient with the knowledge required to make informed decisions about their oral health and to help alleviate any anxieties they may have.

Outside of dentistry she enjoys sport, painting and horse-riding. Along with English, Navdeep is fluent in Hindi and Punjabi.

Dr Shilpa Dhawan

We are pleased to welcome Dr Shilpa Dhawan to our team. Dr Shilpa started her career in Tasmania before working in Melbourne and has experience managing general dentistry procedures, diagnosing dental problems, and determining comprehensive treatment plans. She is a compassionate dentist focused on prevention and enjoys practicing stress free dentistry. She is prided on her patient communication and passionate about helping patients with their concerns and improve their oral health in the most adequate manner.

Dr Sook Loi Ng (BDS)

Dr Sook Loi Ng, graduated from the University of Sydney in 1994. She has worked in the Public Community Dental Services as well as private clinics in NSW, Victoria and Malaysia since then. She and her family have now settled in the beautiful southwest coast.

She is committed to providing comprehensive general dental care to all her patients. She is passionate about oral health promotion and preventive dental care.

Dr Sook Loi Ng also has a special interest in Dental Sleep Medicine. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, bike riding, walking and cooking.

Dr Terry Chao (BDS)

Terry graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Science from the University of Western Australia and has since practiced in both non-profit and private clinics in regional areas. His time working there has provided him with experience in treating patients with a wide range of medical and dental issues, whom he strives to provide quality dental care with understanding and kindness. 

While Terry practices all aspects of general dentistry, he is particularly passionate in emergency care and preventative care. Outside of work, Terry enjoys exploring new places and trying the occasional craft beer at local breweries.

Narelle Hartwich

Narelle has worked as Dental Hygienist for 30 years. She has worked in a variety of places. Before working with GMHBA was a Clinical Educator with Latrobe University Bendigo. She likes to see the improvement to patients gum health. Married to a farmer. When not at work she enjoys gardening, jigsaws and reading.
