GMHBA is an AHSA Health Fund.

GMHBA/Frank Health Insurance contributes to the cost of hospital admissions services for eligible members.

Eligibility for benefits is dependent on the product the member holds with the fund, waiting periods, and the financial status of the policy.

Hospital provider numbers are issued by the Department of Health and maintained via the Australian Health Services Alliance (AHSA) for public, private, and non-agreement facilities.

Broader health and chronic disease management program agreements are maintained by AHSA or the health fund.
